by · Mail Online

Deliveroo and Blue Light Card have joined forces, offering free delivery to all essential workers across the UK for twelve months.

The partnership will see Blue Light Card members - including emergency staff, NHS staff, social care workers, teachers and the armed forces - receive free delivery for a year, as well as a range of exclusive deals and discounts.

The initiative has been designed to make life easier for essential workers, many of whom work unpredictable hours, by providing round-the-clock access to meals and essentials.

As the only delivery app to partner with Blue Light Card, which has over four million members, Deliveroo's Plus Silver membership will provide free delivery on eligible orders over £15 from restaurants and £25 from retail stores.

Essential workers can also enjoy exclusive discounts from popular health and beauty retailers and food establishments such as Boots, Nando's, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, GAIL's Bakery and many more.
