Bokaro MLA and Chief Whip (Opposition) in the Jharkhand Assembly, Biranchi Narayan, today laid the foundation stone for a high-level bridge. The bridge, costing 3.02 crore, will be 52.48 meters long.

The bridge will replace the existing Chilka culvert, connecting Siyaragajara and Brahmandwarika. The new bridge, once completed, will facilitate smoother travel for residents of nearly a dozen villages, including Siyaragajara, Brahmandwarika, Bhuiya Dwarika, Gopalpur, Belut, Badhadih, and Alkusha.

The existing culvert has been a source of trouble for commuters, especially during the rainy season, with frequent accidents reported. The new bridge is expected to improve safety and connectivity in the region.

The event was attended by former Zila Parishad President Mihir Singh, BJP Mandal President Harish Singh, and several local leaders, including Sujit Chakraborty, Swadesh Khawas, Banita Devi, and others.
