Seer gives go-ahead for trick-or-treaters
SOUTHLAND -(INT) - An incoming weekend storm promises a replay of the last but wetter this time.
KEY POINTS
• Light to moderate rain and mountain snow this weekend
• Strong wind gusts for mountains and deserts
• Below average temperatures expected into next week
No tricks and only benign treats are ahead for Halloween.
As October segues into November, clear mild weather will be replaced by a more winterlike feel this weekend. A new Pacific weather front will slide into the Southland this weekend bringing wind and widespread showers. Expect the peak of the action Saturday night as temperatures drop and snow levels dip across the mountains and Daylight Saving Time ends.
By election day Tuesday, an off-shore flow may develop signaling another bout of winds.
