A fat loss coach has shared a "tiny habit" that you should start every morning to help with weight loss. For those seeking extra assistance with their diet, fat loss coach Amanda offers some effective additions to your daily routine that could help the pounds drop off.

In a TikTok video, she outlined these simple yet "easy" tips for enhancing your morning routine and diet, which could be a significant aid in losing weight. Posting as @amandabdobler, Amanda advised: "Right when you wake up, drink or chug at least 16 ounces of water."

This is roughly equivalent to 454ml, almost a standard 500ml water bottle. The fat loss guru also recommended checking your step count "as often as you open up your phone" ensuring you can easily achieve between 7,500 to 10,000 steps daily. Additionally, she suggested jotting down everything you eat without focusing on counting calories.

"Mindfulness is key," she noted, which supports her fourth tip: "carve out your meal times and try to stick to a regular schedule", reports Surrey Live.

Those aiming to augment their protein intake received some valuable advice from nutrition expert Amanda, who suggested simply eating "more of the same type" of protein you already include in your diet. For those tempted to scroll through TikTok or other social media, Amanda recommends doing it on a walking pad.

Regarding snacking, she points to high-fibre foods and steers clear of processed sugar. Amanda explained: “You don’t want any of the super processed stuff that does truly nothing for you.

It’s not that I’m against processed foods it’s just I know a 300 calorie sandwich is going to fill me up a lot more than a 300 calorie protein bar. ” She also recommended fruits for anyone looking at having seconds.

The NHS is an advocate for weight loss to combat unhealthy habits, stating: “Gaining weight is often a gradual process – it happens over the years as a result of modern-day life and the odd unhealthy habit. ” The site further reads: "Extra weight causes fat to build up around vital organs, making it harder for the body to fight against diseases like cancer, heart disease and now COVID-19. If you are overweight or living with obesity, lowering your weight can help reduce your risk of developing serious diseases."
