ISRO's Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) in Bengaluru has started inviting applications for various temporary positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official ISRO website, with the deadline for submissions being October 9, 2024. HSFC was established as part of ISRO's ambitious Indian Human Spaceflight Programme and is seeking to fill multiple roles. Below is a brief overview of the positions available:

AVIATION MEDICINE

Required: MD in Aviation Medicine from a recognised institution and an MBBS degree.
Experience: Minimum of two years is desirable.

SPORTS MEDICINE

Required: MD in Sports Medicine and an MBBS degree.
Experience: Minimum of two years is preferred.

MEDICAL OFFICER

Required: MBBS degree from a recognised institution.
Experience: Minimum of two years.

STRUCTURAL DESIGN

Required: ME/MTech in Structural or Civil Engineering, with a BE/BTech in any discipline.

INSTRUMENTAL ENGINEERING

Required: ME/MTech in Instrumentation Engineering, with a BE/BTech in any discipline.

SAFETY/RELIABILITY ENGINEERING

Required: ME/MTech in Safety or Reliability Engineering, with a BE/BTech in any discipline.

INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT/ENGINEERING

Required: ME/MTech in Industrial Production, Management, or Engineering, with a BE/BTech in any discipline.

Applicants for medical roles must have at least a second-class degree in MBBS. There is a non-refundable fee of Rs 250 for post codes 1-14. Initially, all candidates must pay Rs 750 as a processing fee, but refunds will be provided to those who appear for the written test or interview.

Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from the application fee and will receive a full refund of the processing fee. Other candidates will receive a partial refund of Rs 500 after the deduction of the application fee.
