A critically acclaimed Norwegian fast food joint is coming to Manchester this winter. Led by the team behind Madre, Medlock Canteen and London's Breddos tacos, Doug's will be calling Oxford Road home in December.

Originally based in Oslo, Doug's is known for its Oklahoma style burgers and fan favourite 'Happier Meal' which comes with a burger, fries and martini.

Serving 11am until midnight, seven days a week on Oxford Road, every patty is hand-pressed using premium dry-aged beef with super thin sliced onions smashed into the patty, which gives the signature Oklahoma style.

The star of the show is the Classic Cheeseburger - smashed patty, onions, cheese, mustard, ketchup, pickles and Doug’s special sauce. Also featured on the menu will be a selection of fried chicken sandwiches, hot tenders and fries.

Wine, beer and cocktails will all be on the menu. For the early diners, Doug’s Breakfast Buns will be served all day from 11am.

The flagship restaurant on Oxford Road is designed by R2A studio and will be opening this December in Circle Square for eat in and take-out.
