Halloween weather Ireland: Met Eireann’s latest forecast for each county tonight
by Megan Martin · RSVP LiveIt’s the spookiest day of the year and there is nothing more frightening than trick or treating in cold, wet and miserable weather.
Most parents and children around the country will be braving the elements regardless of the forecast between the hours of 5pm and 8pm this evening. Thankfully, it looks like it will stay mostly mild and dry for the majority of the country.

Dublin
The capital will be mostly cloudy and mainly dry today. Highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees with mostly light southwest breezes. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and mainly dry. There may be a few patches of drizzle and some mist patches. Lowest temperatures of 9 or 10 degrees with light southwesterly breezes.
Leinster: Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford, and Wicklow
Mostly cloudy and mainly dry across Leinster. There may be one or two spots of drizzle and some mist patches in places also. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light southwesterly breezes.
Ulster: Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Antrim, Down, Armagh, Derry, Fermanagh and Tyrone
Today will be mostly cloudy and mainly dry across Ulster. There will be a few patches of light rain or drizzle, most likely in the northwest. Some mist patches in places also. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with light southwesterly breezes.
Munster: Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.
Today will be mostly cloudy and mainly dry across Munster. There'll be a few spots of light rain or drizzle, mainly in the west. Some mist patches in places also. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light southwesterly breezes.
Connacht: Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo

As for the rest of the week, it’s predicted to be generally mild and settled.
Friday, 1st November
Tomorrow will stay mainly dry and cloudy with limited bright spells. However, once again, there will be a few patches of light rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in a light variable breeze.
Saturday, 2nd November
Saturday will be largely dry and mostly cloudy. There may be a few patches of drizzle and also a few sunny breaks. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees, with light south to southeast or variable breezes. Saturday night will bring a mix of cloud and clear spells, along with occasional drizzle. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in light mainly southeast breezes.
Sunday, 3rd November
Sunday will continue mainly dry and mostly cloudy. A few spots of drizzle are possible. Some sunny breaks may develop too. Highest temperatures 12 to 15 degrees with light to moderate southeast breezes.
Afterwards, Monday will be mainly dry and mostly cloudy with highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees and light southeast breezes.
“At the moment it looks like Tuesday will start off dry, but that outbreaks of rain will move in from the southwest later in the day,” Met Eireann added.
