Fragrance fans can get £80 worth of perfume for £25 including Marc Jacobs and Kylie Jenner

The ASOS fragrance gift set gets shoppers more than 50ml worth of fragrance for £25 - and one bottle is worth £29 alone

Fragrance fans can get their hands on £80 worth of popular scents for £25 in a new deal at ASOS. The online fashion retailer has launched five gift sets just in time for the festive period, and one is perfect for perfume lovers.

The ASOS Gift Of Fragrance Bag 2024 is priced at £25 , but has been valued at £80. It contains 55.5ml of fragrance split between five of the most sought after scents of the year, including perfumes from Kylie Jenner and Mark Jacobs.

Coming in a super giftable zip-up bag, the edit contains a 30ml Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 76, which is described as capturing the 'vibrant energy of a night out in Rio'. The fragrance combines notes of black currant, pear nectar, midnight jasmine, vanilla creme, lush freesia, amber woods and caramelised patchouli, with OK beauty editors claiming it reminds them of YSL's Black Opium EDP, which costs £125 for a 90ml bottle .

Then there are two 10ml bottles, which are the perfect handbag size for on-the-go spritzing. The first is Shay and Blue Black Tulip - decadent fragrance with notes of plum, white chocolate and wood - which is worth £25 alone, essentially covering the cost of the box alone. The second is Floral Street Black Lotus , usually £29, which is tipped as a ‘powerful, spicy and woody scent’ with notes of centifolia rose, red peppercorn and saffron.

Finally, there are two smaller samples, which, while they may not last too long, will give shoppers the chance to try out the sought-after scents without having committed to buying a full-sized bottle. Both the Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild and Kylie Jenner Cosmic scents are favourites in my personal collection, with the latter being a firm favourite with my fiance.

Daisy Wild launched earlier this year and is a ‘bold, fresh fragrance’ with notes of banana blossom, jasmine and sandalwood. If you’re a fan of the OG Daisy, this one offers a more mature twist on the classic while maintaining its playful, floral roots.

Meanwhile, Kylie’s Cosmic is an ambery floral fragrance with notes of star jasmine and blood orange, alongside golden amber and red peony, rounded off with vanilla musk and cedarwood. The Mirror shopping writer Lauren Codling also described it as ‘seductive, sweet and a must-have if you're looking for an affordable new scent’.

Elsewhere, the Debenhams Fragrance for Her Edit costs £50, and contains five popular mini perfumes to try out throughout the festive period. The travel sized fragrances range from 1.2ml to 7.5ml, totalling around 23.7ml worth of scent.

Among the bestsellers are Lancôme’s La Vie est Belle, Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium, Mugler Alien, Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb and Prada Paradoxe. The 7.5ml YSL fragrance is worth around £15 alone, based on the price of a 30ml bottle. Plus, shoppers get a £50 voucher to spend on one of the full-size bottles.

LookFantastic is offering a similar discovery set, once again containing five iconic fragrances. Their offering is slightly more at £55, but does include a £55 voucher. All of the fragrances are 10ml, totalling 50ml overall, however, there’s not as much variety in terms of brands.

The LookFantastic box includes Narciso Rodriguez All Of Me Intense, Narciso Rodriguez For Her Musc Nude, Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Solar Violet, Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey and Serge Lutens Écrin de fumée. There are also discovery sets available from Sol de Janiero, like these four travel sprays for £33, ideal for dividing into smaller gifts or gifting to a beauty fanatic.

There are mini edits from Maison Margiela which get you 12ml of fragrance for 36, while Phlur’s offering gets you 16ml for £39, both available at Space NK. Or how about a fragrance-focused advent calendar? Sentier is a high-end fragrance brand that offers both candles and perfumes, and this year's advent calendar delivers over £500 worth of products for only £99. Alternatively, Jo Malone London has unveiled its highly anticipated 2024 advent calendar, which is £350.

Or, for individual bottles, Boots has released their fragrance Star Gifts which sees a number of scents reduced ahead of the Christmas season, including money off Ghost, Viktor and Rolf, BOSS and more.
