The Irish popstar claimed the culprits had been caught on camera as he shared his hopes that justice would be served.
Edward, who shot to fame on the X Factor alongside his twin brother John, said his phone had been taken while he was in London. He shared his ordeal with fans on Jedward's social media late on Wednesday night.
He posted: "Hi, it's Edward. Someone has stolen my phone so if (anyone whose trying to get in contact with me, don't be worried as I'm just really shaken right now). My whole life is on there. I'm just really thankful to have John now but I won't be able to be contacted."

Edward shared a further update later that evening and said: "The shop where I was robbed have the two criminal thieves on camera hopefully we can get them arrested and justice will be served and we'll crack down this phone stealing ring in London. My heart dropped! Thanks for your kind messages."
The Irish Mirror reports that this was the second time Edward had been the victim of a mugging in the capital city. In October 2023, his phone was taken by two masked men on bikes.
The 32-year-old wrote at the time: “Be careful everyone, two masked guys tried to mug me on bikes as I was talking on the phone! Obviously shaken but was not expecting it! Seems like it’s happening all over London.
“Felt my wrist and arm being grabbed from behind. It all happened so fast and didn’t have [my twin brother] John next to me! Just would hate this to happen to anyone else and being made feel vulnerable”.
