M&S also sells mini Pure Cotton Cat Print Pyjamas for children

A Marks & Spencer shopper admitted they 'could not resist' a 'cute' pyjama set with 'useful' side pockets. Others said the Pure Cotton Cat Print Pyjamas were 'really comfortable' and 'soft' - with matching sets also available for children.

M&S said the long-sleeved pyjamas had a "distinctive" cat print, a "smart" revere collar and a button-through front. The bottoms of the Pure Cotton Cat Print Pyjama Set also had a "stretchy elasticated waist".

The black and white Pure Cotton Cat Print Pyjama Set costs £35 and come in sizes six to 22 - although customers thought they 'fit big'. Mini sets for children were priced between £20 and £22.

A four-star review for the Pure Cotton Cat Print Pyjama Set read: "I could not resist these. Pure cotton and with a cute (but not too childish) cat print! Plus they are not pastel coloured, as far too much adult women’s nightwear is. I size up in nightwear and the 12 is roomy (I’m a dress size 8-10). The bottoms have useful side pockets! But I’m docking a star for the slightly plasticky white printing on the navy cotton, as I’m not convinced it will stand up to repeated washing without cracking."

A reviewer who gave the Pure Cotton Cat Print Pyjama Set five-stars wrote: "Really comfortable pjs which are soft and 100 per cent cotton. I got the matching mini set for my four-year-old son who loves them too!"

Natalina said: "Excellent fabric and pattern, however it is big. Pity not available in petite." Sizing was also an issue for another Pure Cotton Cat Print Pyjama Set reviewer who wrote: "Love the design, and the quality of the fabric is amazing, but they were extremely oversized. I appreciate that most people like pyjamas to be a bit baggy but I got my usual size (16) and was absolutely swamped by them, and the trousers wouldn’t stay up. Have returned and will try a 12 and a 14 instead." A similar review read: "So big need to get them altered label states size 18 more like 22 extremely dissatisfied."
