Susanna Reid and Ed Balls, hosts of Good Morning Britain, swiftly changed the topic following a lively interview with Amanda Holden this morning. On the show today, Amanda talked about her challenging cycling endeavour from Cornwall to London in aid of Global's Make Some Noise charity.

Dubbed 'Amanda Holden's Big Ride To Work', she will be pedalling an impressive 250 miles starting from Bude in Cornwall to reach the Heart studios in Leicester Square. Her ambitious five-day ride involves eight hours of cycling each day, taking her from Cornwall through counties like Somerset, Berkshire, Wiltshire, and Surrey, finally arriving at Heart's HQ in London on Friday, all while raising substantial funds for charity.

During her appearance on Good Morning Britain, Amanda kicked off the interview by admitting she had acquired some special bum cream to support her during her challenge - spending most of her days in the saddle. She quipped several times about her bottom while on the air, and after she humorously slapped her rear at the end of the conversation, Ed hastily told viewers that it was time to move on.

Susanna and Amanda both laughed heartily as they concluded the interview and sent well wishes for her cycling journey.

"I thought you were going to ask where I put the [bum] butter then, but it's early morning and kids are watching so," Amanda commented, while Susanna and Ed presented the happy bottom cream to the audience, reports the Mirror.

Amanda Holden, the radio and TV star, has shared a cheeky update on her charity bike ride, saying: "I'm trying to think of a good word to say that's - I'm lubed up. There we are."

Previously, she joked about the physical benefits of the challenge, stating: "I can't quite believe that I'm going to be cycling over 250 miles from my mum's house in Cornwall to London for Global's Make Some Noise - it's a massive challenge!"

She continued with enthusiasm: "I'm told it's not going to be particularly flat so I'm gonna have buns of steel by the end of this! Knowing that every mile I cover will help raise funds for those local projects providing a lifeline directly to those who need it most is what will keep me going.

"Plus, I'll get the nicest Cornish sendoff from my mum with a big cuddle." Amanda added confidently: "I can't wait to see how much we can raise, I know we'll get incredible support from our amazing listeners. Their generosity truly means the world, and together we can help those projects that make such a difference in their communities."
