Ruth stepped out for a night out - and shocked fans with the reveal that she’s still wearing her wedding ring. Ruth looked happy and glam as she headed out to Manchester for a night out as the star is being supported by family and friends as she navigates the break-up.

After Eamonn flaunted his new romance with a trip to Ibiza, Ruth took action by hiring a fierce divorce lawyer, according to reports. Ruth and Eamonn split in May this year after a 33 year relationship, shocking fans and supporters.

Eamonn has already been seen on holiday with new girlfriend Katie Alexander. Back in December 2021, after a year of being moved to the bank holiday presenting slot, both Eamonn and Ruth left This Morning, which airs daily.

Eamonn debuted on GB News in January the next year, while Ruth stayed with ITV in her long-standing role on Loose Women. The final years of their relationship was marred by Eamonn's ailing health - and in September that year, Eamonn underwent spinal surgery after years of back issues including a trapped sciatic nerve.

Two months later he fell down the stairs of his Surrey home with Ruth and broke his shoulder, requiring a new operation.Eamonn has a spine and neck stretching procedure as part of his year-long recovery last September.

"Ruth has remained quiet and classy," a source told MailOnline. "Even when people bring up what Eamonn has been up to, she stays silent and just smiles. She thinks that is the best way. But one thing she would see every day was the stairlift which Eamonn installed. Ruth doesn’t need it.

"She’s super-fit and healthy but she knew Eamonn probably would struggle when he had to go the house to get some bits he needed for the holiday."
