A BBC Strictly Come Dancing feud is threatening to boil over - as two stars UNFOLLOW each other on social media. Carlos Gu and Nancy Xu have faced reports that they are refusing to stand next to one another on the BBC show.

Now, the pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram, where they both share large followings. The Strictly Come Dancing pros have reportedly fallen out and have even unfollowed each other on social media ending their lengthy friendship.

The pair have known each other since childhood while in China but Carlos feels as though Nancy has pushed him to one side as she focuses on staying the competition. The Sun on Sunday reports a source as saying: "The feud between Nancy and Carlos is really sad and has left everyone really shocked.

"They’ve been close since childhood, but have fallen out and unfollowed each other on socials." They added: "The atmosphere on set is said to be awkward and tense when both are around, and to many it was a relief when Carlos didn’t attend the show weeks ago. Carlos is said to be subdued after the falling-out and is also struggling with not getting a celebrity partner.

"His friends are worried about him as he is so far away from his family." The source continued: "He has wiped all pictures of her from his profile and unfollowing each other on Instagram is the ultimate finality in their friendship. With all the other drama in the Clauditorium, it’s the last thing bosses need."'

It comes in the same week Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington were reported to be refusing to stand next to one another on live TV following their messy breakup earlier this year. The pros were together until the middle part of this year, before splitting.
