Janette Manrara has revealled she was moved to tears watching Strictly 2024. She is over the moon to see her other half Aljaz Skorjanec make a stunning return to Strictly Come Dancing.

Having wed Aljaz in 2017 and sharing 15-month-old Lyra, the small screen favourite confessed to getting quite emotional witnessing her spouse strut back onto the BBC's hit Latin and ballroom series after a five-year hiatus, particularly when he partnered up with ' Love Island ' alum Tasha Ghouri.

On 'Monday Mile', she opened up to Aimee Fuller, saying: "I'm so happy he's back, I think the whole country is. He's back where he belongs. He shines on that dance floor. He loves to teach.

"It was amazing to watch him, and I was there at the live show.

"After he finished his dance with Tasha, I got teary-eyed, I got emotional, it was just so beautiful to see him back doing what he loves."

The bubbly TV personality also shared insights into her own stint as a 'Strictly' pro now she delights audiences as presenter for 'Strictly: It Takes Two'. Recalling her rookie year struggles and comparing them to hubby's success with Abbey Clancy in 2013, Janette reminisced how she felt like a "complete failure" while repeatedly facing the dreaded dance off with Julien MacDonald.

"And then Aljaz went on to win it with Abby and it was so hard for me emotionally, because I obviously wanted to do a good job and impress a new country, a new audience of people, new co-workers that I had never really worked with before. I just felt like I was a complete failure, like I didn't do a good job, I didn't belong there, I thought I don't deserve this job."
