Katie Price is set to reveal her IVF journey in a new Channel 4 documentary, sharing her desire to become a mother once more. The 46-year-old former glamour model, who already has five children, allowed cameras to document her attempt to have a baby with ex-partner Carl Woods, 35.

Despite their split in 2023, the pair have given Channel 4 permission to air the deeply personal footage in a two-part series scheduled for next year. The documentary will feature all of Katie's children, but her current boyfriend, JJ Chalmers, won't appear, according to TV insiders.

A television source revealed: "We'll see Katie go on a tough - and unsuccessful - journey to become a mum again. She faces lots of obstacles, ups and downs along the way. The programme will shine a light on the struggles women face while trying for a baby in their 40s."

Over the summer, Katie disclosed that she had experienced three failed IVF attempts in the past year. "My eggs are too old, I'll get a donor egg," she stated in one interview.

Katie's children include eldest son Harvey, 22, with former footballer Dwight York, son Junior, 19, daughter Princess, 17, with first husband Peter Andre, and son Jett, 10, and daughter Bunny, nine, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler, reports the Mirror.

In a candid chat on Olivia Attwood's podcast, Katie expressed her determination to continue pursuing motherhood despite the challenges of IVF. She remarked: "People have got to realise it doesn't matter if I act young or if I look younger, your body is still 46, and your eggs get less and they get older and it's harder."

When Olivia probed further, asking, "But you definitely want another one? " Katie responded: "Or two. It's going to happen one way or the other. I don't know how or well and I will, I'll try."

Katie also disclosed in her latest book that she has found a clinic prepared with "donor eggs and sperm ready" for her to "have them implanted". She's chosen sperm from "a man who is mixed race from America" and is considering a donor egg, even though she may have one viable egg left.

Currently dating JJ Slater, known from Married At First Sight, Katie has been enjoying a new romance since early this year, including a recent getaway to Cyprus. However, insiders reveal that JJ won't be featured in her forthcoming documentary, which will exclusively include footage from 2023.

Following her split from ex-fiance Carl Woods at the end of last year amidst allegations of infidelity, a source close to Carl mentioned: "He's not looking forward to reliving that chapter of his life."
