by · Birmingham Live

Strictly Come Dancing's JB Gill has sparked excitement among his followers - by hinting he has 'big news incoming' for the next live show. The JLS star is currently training with new professional partner Lauren Oakley after Amy Dowden was forced to skip icons week due after being hospitalised.

And the 37 year old singer revealed they had got big plans up their sleeve. On Instagram, JB shared an endearing shot of his wife Chloe Tangney, and their kids, Ace and Chiara, all peering into a cardboard box with expressions of astonishment with the words 'big news incoming'.

Alongside the photo he shared a countdown to 'the big reveal' expected around 7:30pm tomorrow night -when he will take to the floor for icons week. He also shared his feelings about his week without Amy, writing: "This week was bittersweet! Despite the ups and downs, grateful to be through to another week @bbcstrictly."

JB and Amy previously impressed with a score of 32 for their Foxtrot to "Dancing In The Moonlight" by Toploader last Saturday during Halloween Week, securing their spot in week 7 thanks to public votes.

However, post-performance events took an unexpected turn when Amy was reportedly 'collapsed' backstage and had to be rushed to hospital. She is reportedly recovering well now. A spokesperson for Strictly Come Dancing commented: "Amy Dowden MBE is doing much better and the 'Strictly' family send her love and wish her well.

"She is delighted that fellow professional dancer, Lauren Oakley, is able to step in for rehearsals and to perform in Saturday's show for JB Gill's couple's choice dance. We are all hopeful that Amy will be back to dance with JB next week."

This weekend (November 2), during Icons Week, JB and Lauren are scheduled to dazzle the audience with a Couple's Choice dance set to a Bruno Mars medley.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Saturday, November 2 at 6.30pm.
