Alison Hammond couldn't help but share her excitement for the weekend during Friday's This Morning, as she gave a rare insight into her love life with her boyfriend

This Morning's Alison Hammond was all smiles as she talked about her weekend plans on Friday's show.

The bubbly presenter, 49, chatted with co-host Dermot O'Leary about what they were up to this weekend before revealing that she's looking forward to seeing her boyfriend. Alison is thought to be dating masseur David Putman, 27, since the end of last year.

During Friday's show, Alison shared that her beau had been away and she's thrilled at the prospect of reuniting with him. She told viewers: "I'm going to spend it with my son... and maybe my boyfriend... who knows, who knows?".

Dermot couldn't help but tease her, leading to a chuckling Alison adding: "I'm very excited about this weekend, I can't wait. Basically, my boyfriend's been away on holiday and I haven't seen him for a while. He's coming back tomorrow, I can't wait!", reports the Mirror.

It comes after it was recently reported that Alison and her toyboy boyfriend have started discussing getting married and the TV star is determined to "look her best" after losing 11 stone. It is claimed that the pair met after Alison booked masseur David for a £150 massage.

Their friendship then turned romantic at the end of 2023, despite a two-decade age gap between the pair. Speaking to OK! Magazine, a source said this is "the most content" Alison has been "for a long time" as her career and personal life are both going well. The source said: "Her career is going from strength to strength and she loves being on This Morning with Dermot and audiences love her and she is very in demand.

"She's also lost quite a bit of weight and while she's always been happy with her body no matter what size, she feels very healthy and has been working out a lot more and taking care of herself. She's glowing!" The insider said the pair have also talked about marriage as Alison "would love" to tie the knot one day - and added that she also has the approval of her 19-year-old son, Aidan.

The TV host was previously married to Aidan's father, Noureddine Boufaied, but their union ended in divorce. But talking about Alison's relationship with her younger beau, the source said: "They went through some tough times when they first started going out but David has made her believe in love again and has restored her faith in men.

"Add in the fact that she is very happy in her new relationship and has got Aidan's approval and Alison couldn't be happier. They have talked about marriage and although it's quite soon, Alison would love to get married one day. And she wants to look her best when she does even if it's not for a while."
