A Strictly Come Dancing celeb might be in for a tough time, as seen on Wednesday's It Takes Two on BBC. Fans had the opportunity to see some of the contestants rehearsing for their upcoming performances.

Pete Wicks and his dance partner Jowita Przysta are preparing for an American Smooth this Saturday. Viewers, however, were left concerned after seeing the ex-TOWIE star practising, with Twitter users quickly sharing their less-than-impressed thoughts.

One viewer commented: "Oh dear Pete looks terrible in rehearsals." Another shared: "Hmmm I just said that lol. Chris by far looking the best from what we've seen. Think Montell and Sarah will be great as well."

Another added: "Pete's American Smooth isn't looking good at all.." And someone else noted Pete's "Pete's frame is looking very awkward."

Pete confessed about the difficulties of the routine: "I know nothing about American Smooth other than it's really difficult! Even just doing the frame hurts me." Jowita told fans that they were focusing on footing techniques this week.

In a rehearsal clip, Pete missed a step, prompting them to restart. He reflected on the challenge: "The steps are confusing, it's like building a house, isn't it? ".

"I'm trying to lay foundations because if I don't the whole house is going to crumble on a Saturday night, isn't it? I'll need Nick (Knowles) to rebuild it."

The duo's debut dance garnered them a modest 17 points, placing them in a tie at 14th on the leaderboard with Paul Merson and Karen Hauer, who also racked up an identical tally.
