The 'totally different' £89 Marks & Spencer dress that's 'very classy'

A 'very classy' dress from Marks & Spencer was 'totally different' and attracted 'many compliments'. Fans said it could be accessorised to be 'casual or dressy' as it looked good with 'boots or heels'.

The Per Una Cupro High Neck Ruffle Midaxi Tiered Dress had a "silky feel" and "elegant drape", according to M&S. It had a neat back button fastening and long, gathered sleeves to "add a touch of volume".

The ruffled tiers on the skirt also created "playful movement", the retailer said. The bright green Cupro High Neck Ruffle Midaxi Tiered Dress, which costs £89, was currently available in sizes six to 16 on the M&S website.

A five-star review read: "Really looking forward to wearing this, looks great with various sleeveless cardigans, waistcoats and different jackets like denim or velvet. Hangs well and great with large black boots." Oonagh was "delighted" with her purchase and thought the Cupro High Neck Ruffle Midaxi Tiered Dress was "exactly as represented on the website".

Harriet said: "Love the dress, you can wear as casual or dress up for an evening out. Very comfortable, looks exactly like the ad. Well made and worth it. I’ve worn it several times already. Have many compliments. Looks good with boots and heel as more floaty. Love it." Another fan wrote: "Totally different style, VERY classy, comfortable to wear, but pricey."

Jane wrote: "I knew it would be too long, I knew the fabric would look 'creased' but the dress is worth it." Bev added: "Loved the colour and shape of this dress, really flattering on, love it." Grace chipped in: "I was watching and waiting for this dress having seen it online and it didn’t disappoint. I am size 14 with a big bust, so was worried it would be shapeless, but the slip underneath gives me some shape. It’s a really lovely dress that can be accessorised to be casual or dressy, whatever is required."

Jen gave the Cupro High Neck Ruffle Midaxi Tiered Dress a five-star review, which said: "Gorgeous dress! I’m 175cm and it’s a great length. I’m between a 10 and 12 in M&S and ordered both but keeping the 10 I think (and I normally prefer loose fitting). The creasing others have mentioned isn’t an issue for me and I don’t think it detracts from the look of the dress at all. Can’t wait to wear it out."

A two-star review read: "It looked fabulous in the photo but in real life, one me, so frumpy." Another said: "Arrived very crumpled looks cheap and poorly made. Completely overpriced cannot recommend."
