Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper has revealed the unusual one thing he eats breakfast every morning at the crack of dawn.

Waking up at 5am every morning to work on the farm, Kaleb makes sure to keep to his routine by helping himself to the same thing for the first meal of the day, He made the revelation in his newly-released book It's A Farming Thing.

While he usually sticks to cereal during the summer months, as the weather starts to get colder and days become shorter, he said that he changes his morning habits.

Kaleb wrote: "I've got a fascination with crumpets at the moment. With butter, of course. And jam. Obviously. And Cheddar cheese, which people might think is weird, but it all goes brilliantly together."

Despite admitting that some find his peculiar choice 'weird', he compared his habit to something that those living on the continent sometimes do: "People in Europe like quince jelly with cheese, apparently - I think they've totally got the right idea."

Kaleb has no plans to stop his strange eating habit anytime soon: "I'll just keep eating crumpets with butter, jam and cheese until one day, suddenly, I can't face another crumpet, and then it'll be back to eggs - dippy or scrambled."

Away from his choice of breakfast, Kaleb has seen a meteoric rise financially on the back of his appearances on Clarkson's Farm, as recent Comanies House disclosures showed that Kaleb Cooper Productions' financial assets shot from £122,000 to a whopping £242,000 in the financial year ending June 30, 2023.

Meanwhile, his contracting business, Kaleb Cooper Contracting, has also seen a huge boost in that time with his assets jumping from £52,000 to £96,000.

With his financial success plain to see, his co-star Jeremy was full of praise for the 26-year-old's work ethic and intelligence: "He'll drive up and down through the night, putting the right fertiliser on and taking pride in watching a healthy field take root. He's also extremely good on television."

Beginning his career in farming aged just 13, Kaleb began by helping out at a dairy farm before later landing a role on Clarkson's Farm as he helped out the former Top Gear host on his Diddly Squat farm.
