Married At First Sight star Emma Barnes flooded with messages after sharing stunning new look

Married At First Sight's Emma Barnes endured her husband Casper Todd's critical remarks about her looks during their time on the programme. The pair, who have been on rocky grounds since their honeymoon, conceded last month that their relationship was beyond repair and decided to exit the show together.

However, Emma seems to have bounced back, sharing a fabulous photo of herself in a chic swimsuit, ready for a swim at the local pool. Emma, with her hair casually up in a bun and one arm raised, looked the picture of happiness as she snapped a mirror selfie. Her followers were quick to shower her with compliments on the post.

Throughout her time on MAFS, Emma maintained a cheerful facade despite Casper's apparent withdrawal. When pressed, he admitted his struggle to connect, attributing it to his preference for less curvaceous partners.

Viewers quickly picked up on the tension when his remarks seemed to distress his wife during the programme, and while consulting with the advisors, he was made keenly aware of his mistake. Despite attempts to bond over time, Emma admitted that she struggled to let her guard down emotionally with Casper.

He expressed that without emotional openness from her side, he found physical intimacy challenging. After weeks of effort and guidance from experts, as well as support from family and friends, the couple ultimately decided to part ways.

Following their exit episode, Emma has been quite active on social media, sharing snapshots of herself at various social gatherings, including a baby shower, meeting with pals, and enjoying time at a pool.

Post the dramatic episode, Emma turned to TikTok with an insight into their rocky romance, explaining: "if you're confused about mine and Caspar's blowing hot and cold this week, I think I have a theory...hopefully the experts will see this and be proud of me."

Delving deeper, she elaborated: "Caspar and I have never been in relationships, [which is] quite rare at our age, so we both have a disorganised attachment style, which means we show and exhibit all three of the different attachment styles; anxious, avoidant and secure."

She continued: "So if we start off with anxious, that's obviously our walls being thrown up when one of us says something out of whack, and love-hate week, the hate part was actually before Charlene came round, and you can kind of see how hate week brought up some negative energy. We kind of then were anxious, like, 'what? What's happening here? Obviously, it's not going to work. Will it work? I don't know'."
