Strictly star savagely trolled by ex who mocks him with Halloween costume

Abbie Quinnen has taken a brutal dig at her ex, Strictly Come Dancing's AJ Pritchard, with her Halloween costume choice. The 27-year-old model, who split from the dancer and actor after discovering messages to another woman, dressed up as a sexy cheetah for the spooky holiday.

Abbie, who previously revealed that she and AJ had talked about marriage and children before he abruptly ended their relationship, leaving her 'traumatised', made a cheeky reference to her former beau with her outfit.

Taking to Instagram, Abbie wowed her followers with a series of photos in which she donned a figure-hugging, backless cheetah print bodysuit paired with patterned barbed wire stockings and knee-high boots. Her look was completed with voluminous blonde waves and cheetah ears.

She playfully captioned her post: "Dressing up as my ex this year for Halloween," prompting fans to quickly catch on to the joke, offering words of support and laughter.

Supporters flooded her comments section, with one fan saying: "Well rid of that one," while another exclaimed: "THE CAPTION! AJ never deserved you."

A third admirer commented: "Total class Abs ... and when you had so many to choose from."

Another fan echoed the sentiment, stating: "Double Commenting because you are fire and THE CAPTION."

A fifth follower praised her wit, adding: "The caption! ! ! ! You look so gorgeous."

Abbie has reached new heights since being "devastated" by a past breakup. In April, engaging with her Insta followers during a Q&A session, one inquired: "How's the love life? " Abbie candidly confessed: "Not the greatest not going to lie I was pretty traumatised after my last relationship. Find it hard to trust people! And I tend to go for all the red flags so need someone to find someone for me. I don't trust my judgement."

The model and AJ called it quits in September 2022, with Abbie alleging she discovered texts from another woman on his phone despite their three-year-long romance.

In a heart-to-heart with The Sun, Abbie shared: "I'm completely devastated and my world has fallen apart. AJ isn't the person I thought he was, after everything I went through with him I thought we would be together forever."

"He has been the biggest disappointment to me. This has knocked my confidence after my accident and I need to rebuild myself now. AJ was my world and I didn't recognise the guy who was breaking up with me."

Diving deeper into the ordeal, Abbie recounted: "I kept asking him about the girl from the messages, but from the moment I brought her up he completely changed. Just a few weeks back AJ and I went on a romantic holiday to Turkey, it was so lovely."

AJ swiftly moved on from Abbie to Zara Zoffany, whom he met while filming the MTV show The Challenge. However, their romance reportedly fizzled out within weeks.
