Highly-anticipated Supervive beta has been brought forward, and it’s here soon

Having dominated Steam Next Fest, Theorycraft Games' League of Legends competitor Supervive has finally revealed when its beta will drop.

If there’s one game I can’t stop telling people about, it’s Supervive. While I’m caught up in yet another League of Legends flurry in the wake of an outstanding Worlds 2024 finale, Riot’s MOBA is beginning to wind down for the year. Theorycaft’s colorful multiplayer brawler, however, is starting to ramp up. We’ve been waiting for the Supervive beta test dates for months now, and now that we have them, the rest of the month is looking so much better.

If you’re unfamiliar with Supervive, allow me to wax lyrical. Blending the top-down, fast-paced action of MOBAs like League of Legends with an ever-closing fiery ring of death and the drop mechanics of Apex Legends or Fortnite, Supervive has quickly become one of 2024’s multiplayer sensations.

Having taken over X (formerly Twitter) in the wake of its official reveal, Supervive has gone on to draw in thousands of players, earning itself a much-coveted spot at the top of the October Steam Next Fest’s ‘most played’ list. According to Theorycraft’s official stats, players played over 67 million minutes (or 127 years) during that week alone. That ain’t too bad.

At its peak, 16,887 players dropped into Supervive to try out new hunters Hudson and Jin, the new tutorial mode, and, of course, Solos, where you’re tasked with going 1v34. The Steam Next Fest demo let us try out the enhanced gear system, too, featuring a slew of evolving items akin to League of Legends and Dota, and also showed off the game’s official voice cast.

Since then, however, it’s been crickets (except for the memeing on the game’s official X account, which I love). Much like the rest of you, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the highly anticipated Supervive beta dates, and they’ve finally arrived.

Theorycraft has confirmed that the Supervive beta will kick off on Wednesday November 20, with servers in Asia, Europe, North America, and Korea. This is slightly earlier than the team initially expected. You can wishlist it here to get involved.

After that, there’s a “transdimensional winter event” on the cards for December, which will switch up the map, storm shift modifiers, powers, and more. I’ve argued again and again that Riot needs to bring back League of Legends’ seasonal Rifts, so the idea of a winter-inspired Supervive map is far too exciting to me.
