Co-op Live has finally issued an update after postponing Olivia Rodrigo's two shows at the venue in May. The Vampire singer had been due to perform at Co-op Live on May 3 and 4 as part of her Guts world tour, but a 'venue-related technical issue' prompted the concerts to be cancelled.

At the time, Olivia posted on her Instagram story that she was 'so disappointed' to be unable to perform in Manchester. She said: “I’ve been having such a great time in Europe so far and I’m sooooo disappointed that we’re unable to perform in Manchester due to ongoing venue-related technical issues.

"We’re doing our best to reschedule the show. You can hold on to your tickets for further info or request a refund at your point of purchase. More info will be sent directly to ticket holders. I’m so bummed and I really hope to see you all soon.”

Co-op Live later confirmed that a component of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system used to direct air had separated from the ductwork.

Now, five months after the original show date, Co-op Live has announced that Olivia's shows have been rescheduled. In a tweet on X, the official account stated: "Rescheduled dates for Olivia Rodrigo’s 2 previously postponed Manchester shows will be announced next week.

They followed this up with a picture message, that said: "Stay tuned Manchester. Announcement coming next week."
