Fragrance Direct slashes price of 'classic' designer perfume that brings in compliments

Prada fans are flocking to buy the brand's beloved Paradoxe perfume while the scent is slashed down on Fragrance Direct. It would normally cost £69 for the smallest bottle but you can now get the 30ml for £58.50.

The scent was launched in 2022 with Emma Watson as the face. It's the creation of three perfumers: Antoine Maisondieu (Tom Ford Velvet Orchid), Shyamala Maisondieu (Lancôme Idôle) and Nadège Le Garlantezec (Valentino Born in Roma Donna Coral Fantasy).

It opens up with notes of Pear, Tangerine and Bergamot before settling into a floral heart of Orange Blossom, Neroli Essence, Neroli and Jasmine Sambac. The base notes easily tie it together with soothing classics of Bourbon Vanilla, Amber, White Musk and Benzoin.

It's brought in exclusively 5-star reviews on Fragrance Direct. One shopper said: "This perfume is awesome, smells beautiful and yes I would recommend this."

A second penned: "Lovely shape of the bottle and a gorgeous long-lasting scent would recommend." A third wrote: "I love it, amazing smell. I really enjoyed using this perfume."

A fourth added: "Excellent perfume at the right price, I bought this perfume for my wife and I can say have a good fragrance."

Over on Fragrantica, where fragrance buffs share their thoughts on perfumes. One said: "A girl wore this to my gym and I had to ask what she was wearing apart from being drop-dead beautiful she smelled amazing."

Not everyone is so thrilled though, some have complained about it being uninspired. One said: "It's so boring I can't even smell this fragrance. It just disappears."
