Finding the perfect bodysuit can be challenging when it comes to shapewear. It needs to breathe, move with your body, smooth your lumps, and make you feel fabulous in your skin. Based on our SKIMS shapewear review, this mesh material checked all our boxes except one. This one had lighter compression, especially in comparison to Spanx, which we’ve also tested and reviewed. Still, it smoothed some bumps, so it wasn’t a complete loss.

My review: I avoided this brand for years, so it actually pains me to say that after purchasing my first SKIMS bra, I fell down a rabbit hole of purchases that I am obsessed with. As someone with 34B boobs, finding the right balance of lift, comfort, and believability in a bra can be tricky, but this plunge-style bra nails it. The soft, push-up foam pads give just the right amount of lift without spilling over the top, and the wireless design is extremely comfortable. It’s convenient to wear with low-cut dresses and tops. The wings along the side are seamless and lay smoothly under all of my tops. Overall, I highly suggest this one for plunge-top looks.

SKIMS Fits Everybody Push-Up Bra
Pros:

My review: Out of all the push-up bras we’ve tried, this buttery-soft number from SKIMS fits like a dream and deserves an award. I love the 360-stretch with a lightly padded foam shelf to enhance your boobs. It gives them a rounded curve above the bra, showing off some serious shape. However, if you really want to pop, try the Super Push-Up Bra — now that’s a showstopper. But this one gives me the perfect amount of lift when I want to feel perkier.

My review: Out of all the SKIMS bra reviews, this Super Push-Up Bra was my favorite. It may not look like a lot of lift to you, but as a flat-chested woman, I promise you, the difference was vast. This bra will double your bra size while hoisting the girls together. There is a lot of padding here, so if you just want a shelf push-up, I’d suggest getting the SKIMS Fits Everybody Push-Up Bra I really appreciate how smooth this looks underneath my tops because unless you’re intimate with me, this bra is my undetectable superpower for busting up.

SKIMS No Show Unlined Balconette Bra
Pros:
- Sheer material with a comfortable underwire

- Material is so thing that nipples may show beneath
My review: Make no mistake — this bra is sheer, and you can see your nipples through it, more like a bralette. However, for the purpose of this picture, I slid a pair of silicone pads between the sheer material and my body. It wasn’t clear when purchasing if you could see nips just by the pictures, but full disclosure: You can.
This bra has a comfortable underwire with a flattering straight cut on top. Unlike the other bras I tested from SKIMS, this one is designed for every day (a.k.a. my basic size) when you want to show what’s yours while still keeping an element of sexy. It makes for a nice T-shirt bra or for under a sweater when you’re not flaunting a full chest. However, if you don’t slide in a silicone covering, you may have a hint of nip appearing through your shirt. If you like that, you’ll be fine, but I suggest adding your preferred nipple cover to accompany this bra. Check our review on Nips for an affordable price via Amazon.

My review: This bra was a lot of fun to test. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after trying it on, I love how it looks. It’s the modern take on bullet bras from the ’40s blended with the ’70s braless trend to give you volume and great lift in one go. I’d say it’s giving off a sexy, GQ cover vibe. Think of a woman soaked in a white shirt, but without the water.
Fun fact: these nipples are modeled after Kim Kardashian’s. The soft sheen microfiber fabric feels amazing, and the tapered foam pads give a natural-looking lift while keeping you at full volume. One thing to keep in mind is the snug fit, so if you’re between sizes, it’s best to size up.

New York Post Review: “Ok, so here is my verdict: The Skims dress already has a bit of a “snatching effect” without wearing any shapewear beneath it. The material is lightweight but a bit thicker than you would expect, so it does feel like it’s holding you in while emphasizing all the curves. Once you add the bodysuit, you’ll notice that you look smoother all over. The one con for me would be the fact that the sleeves are a bit long, and it’s a bit low-cut. My review: Never have I felt anything softer than this material. It’s made of micro modal with a little bit of elastane for stretch. Leave it to Kim Kardashian to make you feel sexy in loungewear, but here we are. The top has a scoop/v-cut neck with Henley buttons added for style, and it falls around my belly button. Super soft with a side of sex appeal.
These pajama bottoms are unbelievably soft. They’ve become my go-to for a cozy night’s sleep — and who are we kidding…daywear. SKIMS also sells a matching pair of shorts if pants aren’t your jam. My only con is that they run large. I’m wearing a small, and I need an extra small to keep them on. The drawstring helps, but they slip down by a lot.

My review: This fitted short-sleeve tee with a classic crew neckline sits just above the belly button on me.
As much as I’d love to say social media marketing doesn’t get to me, I’d be lying. I saw this shirt in an influencer’s video and had to have it, stat. I’ve made peace with my small boobs, but sometimes I want a little boost for extra confidence. This shirt hugs my curves perfectly, flattering both my chest and stomach.
I recommend machine washing cold and air drying to prevent any shrinkage. I don’t have a washer or dryer, so I can’t say for sure if it shrinks, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. The brand does mention you can tumble dry on low, if needed.

When I first took the Cotton Rib Tank out of the packaging, I automatically thought it was too small. But, it fit like a glove and it has become my favorite tank in my closet,” says Giardina. “With a comfortable, sweatshirt-like feel and a flattering square-neck cut to accentuate your bust and shoulders, it’s the perfect piece either to wear with lounge shorts. And, unlike other tanks I own, it doesn’t ride up or come too cropped. I paired the tank with a pair of jeans and some booties. If you’re looking for a life-changing, shape-altering bodysuit, this SKIMS bodysuit review is for you. The fabric is double-layered and provides a sculpting effect. The suit snaps close with a G-string bottom, so if you don’t enjoy thongs, you may not enjoy this suit, but I highly suggest giving it a try before you knock it.

Do Skims run big or small?
SKIMS bras generally run small, but the brand offers so many inclusive sizes that finding your fit shouldn’t be a problem. If you’re unsure, SKIMS recommends sizing up.
We found that shapewear and bodysuits are very forgiving and true to size, with the material stretching up to two sizes to move with you. The same goes for SKIMS underwear.
Dresses and tops have a snug fit, so if you prefer a looser feel, consider sizing up. However, the loungewear — especially the SKIMS Sleep Straight Leg Pant — tend to run large, so we suggest sizing down.
