Auntie Anne’s Malaysia has taken to their Facebook page to announce that they have fired an employee that has been going viral online for posting pictures of herself sniffing and kissing dough.

They wrote, “Thank you to all who have shown concern and highlighted the recent incident involving Alice Chang. We would like to clarify that Alice Chang was previously employed by Auntie Anne’s Malaysia but she was immediately terminated following this incident.”

“At Auntie Anne’s Malaysia, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety for our customers and staff. We do not condone or tolerate any actions that compromise these standards.”

Additionally, they shared that the outlet where the staff member worked, at Mid Valley Megamall KL, has been temporarily closed for disinfection and cleaning. The outlet will reopen once this process is completed.

“We appreciate the understanding and patience of our valued customers during this time. Rest assured, your safety and well-being are always our top priority.”

This comes after a staff member took photos and videos of herself sniffing and kissing dough at the outlet and posted them online.
