Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann has revealed that she has been partnered with professional ice skater Brendyn Hatfield.

The mum of two, 34, who is engaged to Lorri Haines, is set to appear on the coveted ITV show later this year and has already claimed that Brendyn "has his work cut out." In a recent Instagram post, she said: "The news is in! I’ve met my Dancing On Ice partner and it is……BRENDYN! While he defo has his work cut out (sorry Brendyn!) we’re super excited to hit the ice and bring the sparkle."

The reality TV star posted a snap of the pair skating in an ice rink as she is dressed casually in a pair of dark coloured leggings and a white top. Meanwhile, Brendyn opted for an all black ensemble over a grey coloured t-shirt. They posed for the camera as Ferne leant on him with one leg was which was kicked up in the air, as he held her tight.

The reality TV star is no stranger to putting herself through her paces as she had appeared on I'm A Celebrity..Get Me Out of Here!, where she finished third. The skating pair has already started training ahead of their first appearance on the show. And Brendyn, who is reportedly in a relationship with Rachel Stevens, may give, in fact, his all as it will be his last.

Brendyn recently told fans that he was set to quit the ITV show and took to social media to announce his decision. He wrote earlier this week: "Here we go! Excited to be back for my 6th and final season of Dancing On Ice. Let’s make this one the best one!"

And a lot of his followers were devastated at the news which prompted comments. One person said: "Glad to hear that you will be back but sad to hear it's your last." Another added:" ay so happy that you’re back for another year of Dancing On Ice. but I’m sad that you’ll be leaving along with Mark."

A third also in: "Final (sad face emoji) but so glad we get to see you again this year xxx."
