Their seemingly perfect life was shattered when Molly-Mae Hague issued a statement on social media revealing that her five year relationship had come to an end.

And while the nation spent weeks speculating over the reason behind the shock decision, as they saw pictures of Tommy Fury leaving their family home in Cheshire, it seems one thing has remained constant in their lives - and that is the welfare of their daughter Bambi.

It wasn't that long ago Molly-Mae, 25, told fans that she will always respect Tommy as the father of her daughter. And in an interview to promote his autobiography, he told the Daily Mail, the mum of one could not have picked a better man to be the father of her daughter.

Just after Bambi's birth, Tommy had flown to Saudi Arabia to fight boxer Jake Paul. The younger brother of boxing champion Tyson Fury recalled: "Molly held the fort at home. She was super strong. I came back to a super strong mother and a beautiful baby.We took the bull by the horns. I can honestly say, for two young parents, we are two great parents. I couldn't have picked a better mother for Bambi."

Turning the attention on to himself, he continued: "And I know Molly would say the same. She couldn't have picked a better father for Bambi. We father and mother that baby like an egg in a shell. There is nothing more important. Being a father is the best thing I've ever done in my life. Ever. Having Bambi has changed my whole life."

Despite the breakdown of their relationship, Tommy also revealed that he will always love Molly-Mae. He added: "We were together for five and a half years. You don't stay with someone, have a child with them, get engaged, if it is only a bit of a fling." He went on to say: "It is proper love. Do I still love Molly? 100 per cent. I will love her until my final breath. I know what I have to do in order to resolve things. And that's down to me. Nobody else can do that other than me."

Molly-Mae was the first of the pair to announce the split as she took to Instagram to share the news with fans. At the time she wrote: "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it is right to share this with you all."

Within days cheating allegation started to circulate - which Tommy has always denied. He has since said: "All the allegations that were made of me recently are completely false. The truth will come out in time and when it does I think a lot of people might regret their actions and unkind words. The whole world will, I reckon."
