Man orders Domino's pizza but says 'never again' after making find in box

A man has taken to social media to share his disappointment after ordering a pizza from Domino's. He said he wouldn't do it again after making an unfortunate discovery

A bloke was left gobsmacked after cracking open a Domino's pizza box to find a nasty surprise inside.

Taking to Reddit, the anonymous man shared his shock at the state of his Domino's order. It had been a while since he had a pizza from the chain, and he was enticed by some tempting deals.

However, what he found left him vowing never to return, as he exclaimed: "Haven't had a Domino's for ages, they had some good deals for once. Never again that's grease not sauce!"

The accompanying snap showed him lifting the crust to unveil a box bottom covered with grease. It was totally drenched beneath the pizza base.

While the edges of the box appeared dry, the centre told a different story, soaked where the pizza sat, leaving food enthusiasts stunned. Reddit users had a lot to say about the so-called culinary mishap.

The post got a lot of people talking about fast food. Some just don't appear to think it's as good as it once was.

One person said: "The quality has massively dropped off, they all react to the loss of business by cheaping out on ingredients rather than reducing profits."

And another replied: "It's always been a hideous grease fest. This is not new, and the cost? People must be mad."

Not everyone thought it was just down to Domino's though, as they suggested many things can impact how greasy the dish is. Some even said it can be down to the toppings a person selects.

One user advised: "The grease depends on the meats you get - stick to bacon, chicken, beef and veg and you'll be fine. Pepperoni and meatballs just turn it into a disgusting grease fest."

And another clapped back: "People order ham, bacon, pepperoni, ground beef, sausage, hot dog, meatballs and cheese and wonder why it’s greasy."

Domino's has been approached to comment on the alleged greasy pizza.
