Sharon Osbourne wanted to be Sean 'Diddy' Combs' 'mother-in-law' before sex crime scandal

P Diddy was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon on Monday and a throwback episode of the reality show, The Osbournes, has resurfaced in light of the news

After Sean "P Diddy" Combs' arrest on Monday, a resurfaced episode clip of The Osbournes has shown Sharon Osbourne's comments in a new light.

Years before the rapper, 55, was arrested and awaiting trial in a jail in Brooklyn, he was spoken about on the reality television show of Mrs O and her family.

The popular series followed iconic musician Ozzy Osbourne and his family - wife Sharon, daughter Kelly, and son Jack. Airing on MTV between 2002 and 2005 it quickly became a fan favourite due to the open and often bizarre conversations the group would have. However, it was one episode from January 2003 that recently reappeared and had fans talking.

The episode in question showed Kelly coming back from an event that had also been attended by the Bad Boy Records founder. The two were seen to have posed together in front of a Marc Jacobs sign as the swarms of cameras snapped them.

AS the show then cut to Sharon lying in bed, she began talking to Jack about Kelly's night. "So Kelly went out last night and apparently Puff Daddy's security guard bumped into her and knocked her on the floor and then Puff Daddy picked her up and put her on the table and apologized," Sharon claimed.

"He was really nice to her and told her she doesn't wear enough diamonds and that he was going to get her a diamond watch," she added, which the rapper later gifted the 19-year-old. Not knowing what was the be alleged years later, Sharon commented: "Wouldn't it be cool if Kelly went out with Puff Daddy?"

The show then cut to a dream sequence of Diddy in various music videos as Sharon continued: "And I was Puff Daddy's mother-in-law?" "Puff mummy?" Jack jokingly asked as he enjoyed his mum's ramblings. However, Sharon didn't pick up on the sarcasm. She continued: "I think they'd be so cute together." Jack replied: "You're only saying that because he's famous and has lots of money."

"No I'm not," Sharon insisted. "He smells good." Later in the episode, Kelly comes home and shows her brother and mum her new glitzy accessory the rapper bought her. "I don't f----- trust it," Jack said. "Don't talk about my son in law that way," Sharon joked. As Sharon continued to lay the compliments on Diddy, the conversation turned cringey for Kelly.

"I bet he's got a nice old willy," Sharon commented as other women in the room laughed. "I bet it's smooth. I bet it's oiled," she continued before being abruptly cut off by Kelly who put her hand over her mum's mouth. "Stop it's making me sick," Kelly exclaimed.
