Dani Dyer reveals her daughter has a contagious illness and is "bleeding" as she begs fans for help.

The 27-year-old took to her social media to ask her followers for advice as her daughter Star has come down with hand, foot and mouth disease. In the Instagram post, she says: "Star’s got hand, foot and mouth, and you can’t do anything about that, can you? I’ve looked and looked, but is there any remedies because she is scratching it so much she is bleeding."

You can hear her twin daughters crying in the background as Dani explains that she has a phone call with the doctors. She adds: "I’ve got a phone call in to the doctor but I know they genuinely can’t do anything, and now I’m looking at Summer thinking 'you’re going to get it'’ I just feel like the illnesses are constant.

"A few weeks ago Santiago had impetigo, then chicken pox, then Star got a little impetigo. Star is usually the sickly one, if anyone is going to get ill out of the twins it is usually Star. I can’t leave the house!"

The NHS website says that hand, foot and mouth is "a common childhood illness that can also affect adults. It usually gets better on its own in seven to 10 days." Symptoms of the illness can include a sore throat, high temperature and not wanting to eat, and mouth ulcers and a raised rash on the hands and feet are also common.

The NHS advises sufferers to drink cool fluids to soothe the mouth and prevent dehydration, eat soft foods like yoghurt and to take paracetamol or ibuprofen to ease the sore throat. This comes after it was revealed that Dani and her actor dad Danny's Channel 4 show has been reportedly been axed.

The pair fronted their unique travel show Absolutely Dyer: Danny and Dani Do Italy. However, after just one series it's said producers have decided to pull the plug on the production.

It's said the dad-and-daughter duo had been keen to produce more episodes, but the decision has been taken out of their hands. An insider said they enjoyed the great "bonding time" on the Italian series and had expressed an interest in filming a series elsewhere.

Speaking to The Sun, the source said: "They discussed doing more, even exploring regions in the UK, which would have been cheaper to make. But Channel 4 have decided once is enough and they won’t be back for more."

However, Channel 4 denied definite axe rumours. In a statement to Mirror, a spokesperson for the company said: "We love Danny and Dani. They are both so busy so there are no new shows planned, but never say never."
