After a four-year stint on Hollyoaks Elize du Toit stepped away from the soap - but her appearance has hardly changed in the 20 years since.

Elize shot to fame as Izzy Davies in the Cheshire-based soap between 2000 and 2004. The blonde bombshell made quite the impression on the audience at the time and appeared in sultry calendar shoots for the production.

After initially calling time on her role, she briefly returned to the Channel 4 show in 2007, but hasn't been back since. However, the actress, who is now 44 doesn't look any different to her time on the show.

The star married Hollywood actor Rafe Spall in 2010. The duo's marriage wasn't to be, though and lasted 11 years before they divorced in 2021. They share three children together.

Away from Hollyoaks, Elize landed roles in James Bond's Skyfall in 2012, and also had appearances on the small screen in shows such as Casualty and Waterloo Road. In between her Hollyoaks stints she also starred in The Line of Beauty and Dalziel and Pascoe, while she also appeared in one episode of Coronation Street in 2011.

The actress has since turned her attention to work behind the camera too. Recently, she wrote and directed a short film called Lilias Adie. She appeared in a video on YouTube to speak about the project and showed her age defying looks.

Speaking to the camera about the production, she said: "I was an actress for about 12 years, and then I had children. So, I stopped acting and started producing and so I got like a slate of projects together that I wanted to make. I felt like my creative voice was really that of a filmmaker more than producer and then I got to this point with this film project where it was this beautiful script and I couldn't find a director so I just thought 'do you know what, why don't I just see if I can do it?'."

She added: "And I made it and yeah, I absolutely loved it." She then went on to discuss how the movie idea came about after seeing a digitally reconstructed face of a woman who had been killed after witchcraft claims.

Taking to the comments section, one user on the YouTube video wrote: "She looks great."
