Peter Andre's upcoming tour isn't proving to be the big hit he had hoped for, according to reports.

The Australian singer, 51, is set to tour in January. The UK-based gigs will see the Mysterious Girl star perform tunes from iconic American crooner Frankie Valli, 90.

However, the uptake on tickets is said to have been a far cry from his sell-out days, and his reportedly led to tickets being available for just £1. The tour will see Pete take to the stage in over 41 venues between January and March next year.

However, despite some venues proving popular, others are said to have been slow on the uptake. Despite the apparent concern over the speed of ticket sales, Pete is spinning his business plates and revealed a new gig he has recently landed.

The musician will turn his hand to acting as he has signed up for a new Channel 5 drama. While he has starred in productions such as Grease in recent years, he is taking it a step further and is ready for the secret project.

He revealed last month: "I have got a part in a new Channel 5 drama as one of the lead characters, which I’m excited about.I can’t reveal the name of it just yet or give much away, but I start filming next month and can’t wait to get stuck in. Watch this space!"

Peter is currently also enjoying life with his newborn daughter, Arabella. The six-month-old is Pete's fifth child, and third with Emily MacDonagh. Providing an update on the tot last week, Pete said time with her has been "amazing".

Speaking to the Mirror, he said: "Arabella is six months old this week and I’m so grateful I’ve been able to spend so much quality time with her and Emily recently. It’s been amazing just to be there with Emily and go through the whole process together. She’s now at the stage where things change, she’s pretty much sleeping through the night and is ready to start weaning. Adding an extra child in the mix is a big change, a beautiful but hectic one. The family actually feels complete now with the baby, it’s perfect.”

Speaking of who the youngster most looks like, Pete said: "I'm beginning to see some resemblances between Arabella and Theo; she certainly shares some of his features."

He continues to keep the youngster out of the public eye and confirmed he will continue to do so due to the powers of AI. "Arabella has a cute little triangle of hair at the back of her head and it is so adorable – I posted a picture on Instagram,” he said. “I can’t believe how grown up she is now. Like Millie and Theo, it’s unlikely Emily and I will show her face on social media. AI, for example, can be a scary thing in regard to stealing children’s identity and we don’t know enough about how these images can be used in future."
