Stacey Solmon shares magical Halloween at Pickle Cottage - with incredible costumes
Stacey Solmon and her family had a spooky Halloween, with ghost toast for breakfast, a magical disco at pickle cottage and even Grandad joined in with a 'fascinating' look
by Lillie Rohan · The MirrorHalloween may be over, but the memories will always remain, especially for Stacey Solmon and her adorable family of seven, who may have outdone themselves this year.
The Loose Women star is no stranger to an impressive Halloween getup, and in previous years, she and her family have taken on some favourite characters, including The Flintstones, the Addams family, and even The Wizard of Oz.
This year, however, may be their greatest look of all as they took inspiration from Neverland and dressed up as the characters from Disney's Peter Pan.
Stacey herself embodied Wendy's role in a light blue dress, complete with a blue sash and hair bow, while her husband, Joe Swash, was, of course, her Peter Pan.
In a post on Instagram, she jokingly told her six million followers that her handsome beau was 'over the moon' about his green tights, which were paired with a green top and feather-donning hat.
As for their children, three-year-old Rose made the 'cutest' little Tinkerbelle in her green fairy princess dress, embellished with sparkles and gold and topped off with wings and a flower crown.
While the oldest of their children, five-year-old Rex was Captain Hook. Along with his dashing jacket and black pants and boots, the five-year-old wore a black hat with white feathers and stayed true to his character with a pretend hook seen poking out of his hand.
The couple's youngest child, 21-month-old Belle, went as Mr Smee, Captain Hook's boatswain. She was seen with a big smile as she dressed up in a red beanie and blue and white stripe tee shirt.
Stacey did not share any pictures of her two teenage sons, Zachary and Leighton, but considering how close her family is, it would be no surprise if they were there just hiding from the camera as teens do.
Someone who didn't shy away from getting pictures, though, was Stacey's father, David Solmon, who 'won Halloween at Pickle Cottage'.
Sharing snaps from the themed disco, which took place in their backyard and included some very spooky decorations, such as plastic skeletons hanging from the ceiling, Stacey's dad could be seen in a killer clown costume.
In red tartan pants, a black shirt and a matching tartan bow tie, the TV star told her followers, ' he has NEVER EVER dressed up before all the kids were so fascinated'. One picture saw him and Rose pose together with some carved pumpkins and gold skeletons.
Stacey continued to share snaps from the spooky night on her Instagram story, showing off a massive white bouncy castle, plenty of guests in their frightening costumes and even some pictures from earlier in the day, which started with ghost-shaped toast and snuggles in bed.
Calling it 'the best night', she told followers she 'can't tell you how happy this makes me' and joked that she is 'posting every picture because it's basically Christmas for 15 minutes.'
