Lauryn Goodman 'helping' close pal Lauren Goodger 'find footballer boyfriend'

Lauryn Goodman and Lauren Goodger are reportedly helping each other 'focus on good men with values' after getting out of difficult relationships

Lauryn Goodman is reportedly helping The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger find a footballer boyfriend.

The mother-of-two hit headlines over her tumultuous on-off romance with footballer Kyle Walker - who is married to Annie Kilner and shares children with her. Meanwhile, Lauren previously dated Jake McLean, who passed away in a car accident days before she lost her daughter Lorena in 2022.

She dated builder Charles Drury but the two broke up shortly after their daughter Lorena passed away. They've been co-parenting their other child, Larose, with Charles taking care of her most weekends. And now, a source has claimed that Lauryn and Lauren have been helping each other after agreeing they need to 'focus on good men with values'.

The insider claimed: "Lauren has always been vocal about how she’s wanted to date a footballer, and now Lauryn is helping her. Both girls agree that they attract losers and need to look in other directions – definitely out of Essex for Lauren – and focus on good men with values."

"Fame is a curse as they say men get with them for the wrong reasons. But now, they’re hoping to date footballers and city slickers!" they added to Closer Magazine. The Mirror have reached out to Lauryn and Lauren's representatives for comment. It comes after Lauren previously claimed sportsmen messaged her on social media.

Speaking to OK!, Lauren said: "Yes. Footballers, boxers and rappers – I get it all. [Mainly] premiership footballers and really wealthy rappers. But I can't say who." She went on to say that she could see herself dating a rapper, telling the publication: "I think they suit me, but my life doesn't suit them. I'm very chilled and at home. I'm not out.

"I was asked a few years ago to be in a music video for a massive rapper and he asked, 'How much do you charge for the day?' And now I think I should have done it, but I didn't." Meanwhile, Lauren recently had to shut down rumours she fell out with Lauryn over the Kyle Walker drama.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, she slammed the claims as 'untrue' and added that she 'felt sorry for Lauryn' as there were 'very young children involved'. She said: "This is untrue! If anything I feel sorry for her right now and there are very young children involved which people are forgetting! I have never spoken and never would on any of this so this 'source' has false facts."
