Emmerdale star Natalie Ann Jamieson, known as Amy Wyatt on the show, may have dazzled with an on-screen wedding, but she's making it clear that an off-screen aisle walk with her long-term beau isn't in the cards and she's got solid reasons why.

Natalie has been happily linked to her partner Ali Ward for 14 years, but admits to The Mirror they've both got different ideas about tying the knot. She explained: "I am a very practical person and I've always thought I wouldn't opt for a traditional white wedding dress, but rather one that I can wear again. When people tell me how much they have spent on a wedding, I think, 'You could probably go around the world twice with the amount of money involved'."

Natalie and Ali are on the same page about wedding expenses. In fact, Ali jokingly suggested Natalie could do the proposing just before she filmed her wedding scenes on Emmerdale this year.

The actress shared a light-hearted moment when discussing leap day traditions alongside her Emmerdale wedding, remarking: "It's funny as leap day fell on the day before I was filming my Emmerdale wedding. I replied, 'They've just been saying on the news how it's a really outdated tradition. Besides, I am getting married tomorrow at Emmerdale. One wedding is enough for now."

Natalie's alter ego, Amy, experienced nuptial bliss with Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) in April, notching up a memorable Emmerdale wedding. However, their joy was short-lived as tragedy struck when Matty ended up behind bars for stabbing Samson Dingle (Sam Hall). The good news is that he has since been released.

Off-screen, Natalie's life is markedly less chaotic, and she usually keeps her personal affairs under wraps. The actress seldom discusses her romantic life, but occasionally offers glimpses of her adorable moments with her beau on Instagram.

On social media, Natalie gleefully shared a series of snaps, captioning them: "What a lovely Summer. So happy we got this extra week of sunshine coz I'm not ready to let it go yet - if we're lucky we might squeeze another one! Although winter doesn't mean the fun stops does it? ! My first 20 pic dump It's a goodie!"

The collection of photos included moments with her partner Ali and some of her fellow cast members, such as Jurell Carter (Nate Robinson), Eden Taylor-Draper (Belle Dingle), Emma Atkins (Charity Dingle), and Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle). In another charming photo, Natalie is seen with her on-screen husband Ash, along with Louise Jameson (Mary Goskirk), and Beth Cordingly (Ruby Fox-Miligan).

Ash chimed in with a comment on the post, saying: "Amazing summer" and adding two heart-eyed emojis.
