Kerry Katona has reignited her feud with Natasha Hamilton after she poked fun at her decision to quit Atomic Kitten.

Kerry was an original member of the pop group along with Liz McClarnon and Natasha 26 years ago. The pair have historically had a rocky relationship over the years, so it came as no surprise when Kerry announced that she was leaving the group in 2004.

The mum of four re-joined the band in 2017 but things took another turn for the worse once again. And now, it looks as though things are set to be tense once more, if her latest comments are anything to go by. Following Natasha's announcement, Kerry took to social media to address her fans. She said: "I heard Atomic Kitten are down a girl. I might audition. Do you think they might let me back in?"

She continued: "Even with just one member left, I still don't think they will let me back in." She then made a barbed comment as she referenced the group's famous 2004 hit single Whole Again. She added: "The main thing is, I'm whole again."

Natasha made the decision to quit in order to focus on her solo career. Sharing the news with her fans, she wrote: "26 incredible years, writing so many wonderful chapters, but now the time has come for me to close the book on this one."

Natasha recalled happier times with Atomic Kitten as she went on to say: "I've lived the most incredible life, travelling the world many times over, bringing so much joy to your lives, performing songs that catapulted us into the stratosphere at such a young age. The ride hasn't always been smooth but I wouldn't change a single thing."

She added: "I've laughed and cried many a time with the girls, experienced so many surreal moments and been blessed with a career spanning 26 years - it's been incredible and something I will always cherish." Natasha is expected to perform her final show with the group over the weekend. The mum of four has tried to launch her solo career but found it difficult to juggle a schedule as a solo artist, with band commitments.

Now a solo career is her main priority, she is reportedly developing her own record label and set to promote her own music. In a goodbye message to her bandmate Liz, she wrote: "I wish you all the luck and love world with your work ventures and all the amazing things that are still to come in your life for you - it's been one hell of a ride!" In response, Liz wrote: "Love you."

And pop singer Ian "H" Watkins penned: "Huge love!" Meanwhile, Jessica Taylor from the band Liberty X said: "Massive love to you babe! Hopefully see you out there soon for a proper catch up!"
