Megan McKenna shares adorable baby update one week on from giving birth in Germany

Megan McKenna has been keeping her fans updated since welcoming her first child, Landon, with her footballer fiance Oliver Burke and on Monday, she shared another adorable update

New mum Megan McKenna has been giving her fans a real insight into motherhood from her base in Germany.

Just one week after giving birth, she's all about staying open, sharing the ups and downs that come with a new bundle of joy from swollen extremities to baby messes. The 32 year old announced just two days post-birth that she and her fiancé Oliver Burke were overjoyed to welcome their son Landon on Monday, 7 October.

Megan underwent a C-section, and since then, she's kept her hefty Instagram following of 2.9M fans in the loop with regular updates. On Monday, 14 October, she posted yet another adorable moment. Famed for her stint on TOWIE and later pursuing her passion for country music, Megan uploaded a touching video crooning to her newborn as he rested on her chest.

Lounging on the sofa in their plush German residence, she tenderly sang to baby Landon, revealing her maternal touches with gentle back pats. Alongside the endearing clip, she opened up about her experiences as a first-time mother, captioning: "This is what our day looked like (for an hour) Even on tiny sleep I love singing to you my little Landon... he's struggled with his tummy today, the milk coming in is alot on his baby belly and he's been in a pickle bless him. I never thought ide be so happy to hear a burp or be puked on. Haha."

"We had a better sleep night last night tho, feeding is so full on but I love it so much. Nothing can beat the feeling of him looking up at you. Anytime he can't settle, singing does the trick. Just need to learn the lullaby's again, I keep getting mind block. Also, the smile at the end.... I can't cope."

The post was flooded with affection and encouragement from fans, with one gushing: "Omgggggg this love bubble." Another shared their support: "His little smile @meganmckenna you got this mama. It's hard hard work being a mama in these early days. Zz." One follower was moved to tears, writing: "This made me cry! ! I did this with my little ones. Megan's update followed her previous post where she revealed her struggle with swollen feet since giving birth. Alongside a collection of photos documenting her son's first week, she expressed her joy: "The best week of my life", and humorously added: "Ps rip my ankles."
