Vicky Pattison makes surprising confession about last name after marrying Ercan Ramadan

Vicky Pattison and Ercan Ramadan have opened up about their lavish Italian wedding after the pair tied the knot in the UK in August earlier this year

Vicky Pattison has candidly opened up about the confusion surrounding her surname after tying the knot with Ercan Ramadan.

The 36-year-old reality TV star married 31-year-old Ercan in a ceremony in London before a larger celebration in Puglia, Italy. She told Heat magazine about their newlywed life and the aftermath of their lavish nuptials.

Discussing the intricacies of becoming the Pattison-Ramadans, Vicky revealed: "I have a question about that do we have to arrange the name changes ourselves? Because if we do, then we're not actually the Pattison-Ramadans yet!

"So although probably not quite officially we are Vicky and Ercan Pattison-Ramadan now and I love it."

Vicky, known for her time on Geordie Shore, has previously talked about her decision to share her wedding journey publicly.

Speaking to OK!, she said: "My formative years were spent on every reality TV show under the sun and so the line is blurred about what's appropriate to share."

She explained her choice to involve her fans, adding: "It felt natural to want to share this really happy thing with everybody who's been following my career and following our relationship.

"Plus, weddings are expensive and every penny counts towards it so this was a no-brainer! ".

Ercan, who has enjoyed less time in the limelight compared to his wife, shared his initial apprehensions about having their special day documented, telling Heat: "I was a bit nervous at first, but the more I did, the more I enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun."

When probed about sharing more of his life, he admitted: "A wedding is something really special, but does everyone need to see every day of your life? I don't know. We're really boring."

Vicky also opened up to the Daily Mail about the early days with her beau, saying: "We liked each other's pictures for a while, both playing it cool. Then Ercan slid into my DMs, as the kids say."

She laughed off the initial exchange, adding: "I'm cringing. I think it was flame emojis. He's not William Wordsworth is he? But there's no flowery language in dating these days. It's all just emojis and d**k pics."
