Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kathy Hilton reveals key to her happiness

Reality star and businesswoman Kathy Hilton has opened up about her glitzy lifestyle but admits away from the millions in the bank and diamonds – her family are her source of happiness

Kathy Hilton is never "happier" than when she is surrounded by family.

The 65-year-old reality star - who is married to hotel mogul Richard Hilton and has Paris, 43, Nicky, 40, Barron, 34, and 30-year-old Conrad with him - is a grandmother eight times over and insisted that she and her husband like nothing more than to get all of their "angels" in the same room together to spend time with them.

She told People: "We have sleepovers and we make tents in our room. Just to be able to step back and watch and have this relationship with these angels. They're all so different and it's just a different experience, it's beautiful. Nothing makes me Rick and I happier than having my children and all of the grandchildren under one roof, whether it's a hotel or a house."

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star - who is grandmother to Phoenix, 20 months, and 10-month-old London through Paris, Lily-Grace, six, Teddy, five, and Chasen, two, through her middle child as well as Milou, three, Caspian, two and Apollo, seven months through her so - is looking forward to Halloween.

She said: "I'm going to be in New York, and I'm going to come home. I want to go trick or treating with Paris and Carter and Phoenix and London. The TV star also noted that Paris will be putting in plenty of prep time to make sure that the little ones are all dressed up for spooky season. She said: "Paris has them starting in the next week! They'll be trying different things every day. It's her favourite time of year, so.. and I'll just have a sweater on and a big blinking pumpkin!"

Earlier this year, Kathy caused a stir when she barged onto a fashion runway at her co-star Susan Stracke's event. Kathy seemed to interrupt the catwalk display in LA as she chatted with Erika Jayne's mum, Renee Chahoy. Footage of the incident circulated online as Jadon Medina shared a video to his Instagram. The clip showed Kathy hunched over to speak to Renee, who was sitting further down the line.

It appeared as though Erika's mum made a move to pull Kathy away from the runway as she closed in on it as model Whizdom Williams walked towards her. Whizdom was forced to move to the side slightly to avoid any collision. The model did however give the star a tap on the shoulder, which seemed to shock Kathy. The model didn't seem to mind the potential block and grinned as she passed.

Kathy was dressed in black for the occasion, with her long gown having a slit in the left calf. She paired it with a pair of ankle boot heels and showed off a gold chunky necklace around her neck.
