BBC EastEnders spoilers: David Wicks' return, Tommy Moon horror and Denise's confession

Spoilers for next week have teased dramatic scenes for EastEnders viewers, as Tommy's violent behaviour takes a turn while one legend's return shakes everything up for Bianca.

More drama is set to unravel next week in EastEnders as David Wicks returns to Albert Square to help his daughter Bianca Jackson - but the sight of Cindy Beale will raise many questions.

Actor Michael French was tipped to reprise his role on the BBC One soap this summer after a decade away and, upon his return, the EastEnders legend will be bumping into Bianca (Patsy Palmer) before eventually running into the villainess portrayed by Michelle Collins.

Cindy has recently been involved in some jaw-dropping scenes of her own as her affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) continues behind her husband Ian's back. But when Junior opens up to his father George (and her ex-husband), their secret seems moments away from being exposed.

Elsewhere, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) continues to struggle with her volatile son Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) but next week, the teen's penchant for brutality takes another corner and his mother is, once again, on the receiving end of his bad behaviour. Meanwhile, guilt begins to weigh on Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and she makes a huge decision after a chat with Yolande Trueman - what will it entail?

David Wicks' comeback to Walford is next week's main cause of trouble. But when she spots him, Cindy is left reeling and immediately decides to keep out of sight. Long-time viewers of the London-based programme will remember that David once betrayed his half-brother Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) by sleeping with Cindy during his first stint in the Square.

Back then, Cindy became obsessed with the idea of running away with David and hired a hit man to kill Ian as a result. This eventually landed her in prison and, shortly after she was claimed to have died behind bars, in the witness protection scheme. This means that David has no idea his mistress and sister-in-law is still alive.

In later scenes, Cindy tells George Knight (Colin Salmon) why she is so rattled by David's return and he advises her to front it out. Cindy follows through - after meeting with Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman), David is shocked when he spots her, alive and well.

David and Cindy manage to catch up on the last two decades later on in the week but Ian is horrified when he finds out from Bianca that her father is back. Later on, Ian goes to see Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) and tells her he has a big plan for Cindy. What could it be? And will David get in the way?

While this remains to be seen, Kat Slater's son Tommy will be sparking concern as he acts cruelly with everyone around. And a video message from the late Lola Pearce doesn't change his attitude.

The lad has been causing trouble of his own in Walford, particularly as he has felt neglected by his father Alfie Moon. To top it all off, Tommy has looked up to Walford baddie Phil Mitchell as one of his main role models, prompting him to intimidate his own mother Kat.

Next week, Kat tells the boys that Alfie (Shane Richie) has secured a job at the Minute Mart but money woes are still at the forefront of her mind. Knowing that the Moon family finances aren't boding well, a misguided Tommy hatches a plan to steal from the café but his unwise efforts are thwarted by Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), who catches him red-handed.

Kathy confronts Kat and urges her to have a stern word with him. But when Kat later tries to talk to her son, things go south and he physically intimidates her. When celebrations for Jay Brown's (Jamie Borthwick) 30th birthday begin, Kat and Phil (Steve McFadden) are treated to a video message from Lola Pearce, who succumbed to a terminal brain tumour last year and Tommy ruins the mood.

Tensions are sparked once again when Kat asks him to stop making a racket and Phil is stunned to hear Tommy being viciously rude in response. Kat then tries to talk to her son about trying to steal from the café and he tries to leave, prompting her to grab him. But how will it end and can they move past the row?

Elsewhere in the Square, Denise Fox returns to Walford, shocked by the news of Pastor Clayton's death. During a heart-to-heart, Yolande Trueman talks to Denise about the importance of honesty and truth, triggering guilty Denise into opening up in a vague way about her lies over the club crush.

Yolande's words weigh heavy on Denise's mind and in a shocking move, she steels herself to tell Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) the truth about her daughter Chelsea's involvement in the club crush - but will she really go through with it? Later on in the week, as Cindy tries to dodge several sticky situations at The Vic, Junior starts to talk to George about his mystery woman, as he continues to harbour romantic feelings for Cindy.

George is intrigued when his son admits that what was originally a fling has developed into something more serious. And he's convinced his illicit other half feels the same.
