Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague's split as it happened - cheating claims to sad confession

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury's romantic connection began on Love Island in 2019 and they looked the perfect match before their shock split was announced in August

When Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced their break-up after five years together, their fans were stunned.

The duo, who share one-year-old daughter Bambi, appeared to be a power couple after meeting on Love Island. They were even ready to tie the knot, with venues reportedly already discussed. It seemed like the perfect match with their relationship panning out in front of their millions of online followers.

However, the relationship came crashing down and the pair went their separate ways. With speculation surrounding the cause of the split, fans were left wondering if the pair will get back together, or if the separation will become messy.

Molly-Mae and Tommy announce split

While both parties eventually released their own statement, it was Molly-Mae, 25, who initially broke the news. Taking to Instagram, she penned a heartfelt statement which read: "Never in a million years did I ever think I'd have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end.

"I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority."

She ended by thanking those around her and telling her followers she would be "back when it feels right". She has since launched her new business, Maebe, and continued to share her story through her YouTube channel.

Tommy's cheating allegations

Following their separation, there were rumours Tommy Fury had been unfaithful - claims he continues to deny. Among them was a woman who claimed Tommy slid into her DMs during his time with Molly-Mae. Just over a week after their split announcement, a Danish girl who was also said to have kissed the sports star shut down the rumours. However a TikTok star shared alleged messages she had shared with him.

It's claimed the boxer's shifty behaviour led her to believe he was "messaging another girl", a year before their split, Tommy explained in an extract from his new memoir. He went on to say it started as he tried to create the perfect proposal.

Due to his antsy behaviour, Molly-Mae started thinking he had been messaging another woman behind her back and an argument ensued. He wrote in his new book: "She thought I might be messaging another girl. I was fuming. I couldn't believe she would think that, but I also reminded myself that I was acting shifty, so it was fair enough. Ten minutes before I was due to propose, we were in the middle of this blazing row."

Tommy's words come as he tries to "set the record straight" following allegations made about him in the public eye. He said: "All the allegations that were made of me recently are completely false. The truth will come out in time and when it does, I think a lot of people might regret their actions and unkind words. The whole world will I reckon."

Tommy's sad confession

In his first interview since their split, Tommy said he will "love Molly-Mae until his final breath". The chat last week also heard the star vow to fight for her.

Speaking to Mail Online, Tommy admitted his feeling and confessed he won't be falling out of love anytime soon. He told the publication: "We were together for five and a half years. You don't stay with someone, have a child with them, get engaged, if it is only a bit of a fling.

"It is proper love. Do I still love Molly? 100 per cent. I will love her until my final breath." He then went on to confirm his thoughts and say he is prepared to fight to win his former fiancee back. He added: "I know what I have to do in order to resolve things. And that's down to me. Nobody else can do that other than me."
