We found a gorgeous alternative to Rochelle Humes’ £970 brown suede trench coat – it’s over £800 cheaper

Autumnal fashion is all about textures and rich colours, which is why this season suede jackets are having a major moment. One person who’s already been nailing the trend is Rochelle Humes, who shared the perfect autumn outfit with fans on Instagram earlier this month.

We were instantly coveting her Corrin Suede Trench Coat, £970 from Ducie London, that she wore to head out in London, but between the hefty price tag and the pre-order waitlist (it’s expected to arrive mid-October) it seemed our dreams of copying Rochelle’s style were never going to be a reality. However, never one to be put off by an out-of-reach item, we managed to track down a great affordable alternative with the Carrie CH Hoxton Suede Trench Coat, which you can get for £150 on Amazon.

Although the Carrie Hoxton trench isn’t an exact double of Rochelle’s luxury one, it’s still a gorgeous alternative that’s perfect for nailing the autumn trends. It’s made from real cow leather which has a soft and lightweight suede finish that helps keep you warm without without being stiff or bulky.

It also has a similar fitted silhouette, with a tailored waist to accentuate your figure. It’s knee length, which is slightly shorter than Rochelle’s midi-length coat, but its structured shape and subtle details give it a luxurious high-end look that’s definitely at odds with its affordable price tag.

The Carrie Hoxton suede trench is handmade, so it has great attention to detail, with a lapel collar and four front buttons to fasten it, as well as two practical waist pockets that are handy for keeping your phone and keys nearby, or just for keeping your hands warm against the autumn chill.
