Hugh Bonneville passionately kisses vegan influencer girlfriend in PDA display

Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville puckered up in public to kiss girlfriend Heidi Kadlecova amid busy shoppers in London on Friday evening a year after marriage split

Hugh Bonneville was not shy when it came to kissing new girlfriend Heidi Kadlecova - as they passionately embraced on the streets of London on Friday.

The 60-year-old actor - famous for playing Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham in the ITV drama Downton Abbey and Henry Brown in the Paddington film series - has been dating vegan influencer Heidi Kadlecova, 53, since July. And the pair went very public with their romance on Friday as they locked lips in the capital.

Looking like a stock broker who had just finished a long week at the office, Hugh stepped out in a white shirt with no tie, which was stuffed into his navy blue trousers. He wore a matching blue suit jacket and wrapped up in three-quarter length overcoat - giving him an air of a private detective, in pictures obtained by the Mail.

Heidi, meanwhile, wore a pair of blue jeans and a mid-length overcoat that was a similar pale tan colour as the one Hugh was wearing. She also slung a Louis Vuitton handbag over her shoulder - the luxury brand which has famously sparked anger among fashion fans in the past for selling non-leather items for huge sums.

Heidi is said to have been a positive influence over Hugh - who, it has been claimed, invited her to join him on the set of his current film project. A source told the Daily Mail: "Hugh and Heidi seemed really loved up and excited to be in each other's company. Her being on set brought out another side to him, he was like a different person on set when she was around, considerably perkier."

It is unclear if Hugh has finalised his divorce from Lucinda Williams, 56, who he married in 1998. The ITV star and the 56-year-old businesswoman, known to friends as Lulu, had been childhood sweethearts, meeting in their youth in West Sussex. Lulu previously told the Daily Mail: “We met as teenagers and have a lot of history. We’re not fazed by the glitz of the show business world. We are just home-loving people and don’t make a habit of hanging out at celebrity parties. I don’t really have a job but my hobby is hanging out at car boot sales, buying trinkets and doing them up and reselling them.”

And Hugh also discussed their romance in the past, explaining how they met young, drifted apart, and then were brought back together with some encouragement from his mum. He previously said: “Lulu was running a marquee company . . . my mother rang her to hire some chairs or something and said, ‘Do you remember Hugh?’ and that was how we reconnected. It did infuriate me that I had to give full credit to my mum for reintroducing us."

The couple have a son named Felix, 21, together and announced their shock split in September 2023. A spokesperson said at the time: “I can confirm that Hugh Bonneville and Lulu Williams have separated.”
