Big Brother viewers haven't warmed up to housemate Rosie as she entered the house during the recent launch.

The ITV2 programme returned to screens over the weekend, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best for a new series with 16 housemates entering the iconic house where one person will be crowned the winner with a life-changing cash prize of £100,000. However, as Rosie entered the house, fans felt there was 'some acting' going on.

She introduced herself in a video shared on Instagram and revealed she's 29 years old who works in admin at two dental practices. She said that some people's first impressions of her is that she 'comes across as weird and annoying' before adding: "It's kind of accurate."

They took to the comment section of her introduction video, with one user saying: "Seems fake or forced? Idk, some acting going on there." Another user posted: "Shes an actress . Def not a real housemate?????" and another Big Brother viewer commented: "It’s giving messy."

Another posted: "She’s not, I can assure you! I work with her, and she’s real and very much like this," and another said: "She’s one of the kindest people I know!"

"As someone that knows Rosie, What you guys are seeing is 100% the real Rosie & she is the most loveliest & sweetest person," one commented. During the launch show, viewers became a big fan of Rosie but noticed that the housemate had an unfortunate habit just minutes into the launch show as she kept screaming.

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to share their thoughts as one person said: "Can Rosie stop screaming #bbuk", a different account put: "Please stop screaming, Rosie. I have a dog. #BBUK", while another wrote: "Why is she screaming #BBUK."

Talking about why she entered Big Brother, Rosie said: "This is something I’ve always wanted to do and I know it’s so easy to say but it’s the best opportunity. I can’t tell you how grateful I am. I can’t even believe it’s happening!" Talking about what she'll bring to the house, she added: "I’m hoping it’s going to be a little something different.

"I think I’m going to bring positive energy. I am a good listener, and I can be there to support people. I’m quite an enthusiastic person so if people are feeling a bit low, I can get them back on track."
