American entertainer Justin Timberlake brought his show to a halt for a heartwarming reason when he assisted a fan's marriage proposal during his 'Forget Tomorrow' world tour.

The 43-year-old music icon was in the midst of his performance on Monday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn when he spotted a sign that caught his attention. From the stage, he announced: "I see a sign that says, 'May I propose to Sarah?' You ready? You got it!"

The fan named Donald seized the moment as the crowd erupted in support, taking to one knee and declaring: "I love you, you're my best friend. Will you marry me?" This touching proposal was broadcasted around the arena on the large screens, usually highlighting the main performer, and the audience's cheers doubled when Sarah said yes to Donald's question.

Following the successful proposal and as Donald slipped the ring onto Sarah's finger, Timberlake, known for notable tracks like 'Cry Me A River,' offered his congratulations before returning to his concert line-up. Highlighting the newly engaged couple, he jubilantly said: "Make some noise for Donald and Sarah! I can't top that. Alright, thank you. Have a good night everyone."

Notably, just three days earlier, Justin had marked another romantic milestone while in Montreal for his tour; it was his wedding anniversary with Jessica Biel, the '7th Heaven' star to whom he's been wed since 2012. He made sure to pay homage to his wife, who was present in the crowd, celebrating their life together along with sons Silas, nine, and Phineas, four. He expressed his love during a special occasion, saying: "My wife is here tonight. And tonight is our 12-year anniversary. So, be nice to her, Montreal, because she's sharing me with all of you guys tonight. I love you, baby.."

Jessica has openly discussed the challenges of balancing family and work life, especially when Justin is touring. On ABC's 'The View', she shared insights into their dynamic: "It's always a work in progress, right? It's constantly trying to find the balance, trying to find the time we can connect. Thank goodness for Zoom and Facetime. For parents who are gone a lot, that has been really helpful. Just finding the time we can connect and see each other in person or get him with the kids."

She also touched on the exhaustion that comes with parenting two children while managing a hectic schedule: "We've never done this before with two, I'm exhausted. There's been four shows. I don't know how he's gonna do it or how we're gonna do it but we're gonna get through it, somehow, some way!"
