Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby is on cloud nine as she prepares to meet her second child, already having strong instincts about the baby's sex. "I've got a boy vibe," she beamed. "I've had a boy vibe from the beginning. I just woke up one day and thought, 'I'm having a boy.' I can't wait to have this baby - and now I'm at 21 weeks, I can finally talk about it!" The TV personality, already mum to her one year old daughter Alba with her fiancé Jake Ankers, is especially excited at the prospect of having a boy.

"If I do have a boy, I'm going to be so excited to see Jake's reaction because he would absolutely love to have a boy," shared Charlotte, aged 34. She imagines how thrilled Jake would be doing all sorts of father-son activities, adding, "He has wished for this all of his life - he would just want a little boy to be able to take to football and do all of the boy things with. So if we have a boy, I'd be so happy for Jake."

Keeping her pregnancy low-key until recently, Charlotte revealed her growing bump to her followers in late September through a social media post. Despite the quietness around her pregnancy, she's surprised the news didn't leak earlier. She mused over her time filming a BBC show where she openly admitted to her condition due to discomfort, saying, "I did tell a lot of people. I was filming a show with the BBC and I just said on set, 'Listen, I'm pregnant. I'm really struggling, I'm too hot,'" and with a chuckle added, "I was shouting it. I don't know how it stayed a secret for that long."

While Charlotte Crosby is gearing up to welcome her second bundle of joy, she's also returning to her TV roots with her latest reality job: the Paramount+ series Aussie Shore. A full thirteen years since her iconic debut on Geordie Shore, Charlotte is making a comeback to the famous franchise by starring in its Australian offshoot as the unruly cast's new boss. Instead of joining the wild antics, Charlotte takes charge by assigning the rowdy bachelors and bachelorettes to work amid their partying and romantic escapades in Queensland.

She confesses that stepping back from the revelry and embracing this fresh role is something she cherished. "It was so good because I got to have all the nostalgia of when I first went in again but I didn't have to get involved," she explains. "It was the best job I've had in a while."

Charlotte is taking on a new role in Geordie Shore spin-off Aussie Shore - and this time, she's the boss

When Charlotte burst onto the reality TV scene at the tender age of 19 on Geordie Shore, she was at the heart of some of the series' most jaw-dropping scenes including scandalous liaisons with Chloe Ferry and infamous mishaps with Gaz Beadle. Nevertheless, she hints that the new Aussie recruits are pushing the boundaries further than ever before. "They are wild. Me and Sophie [Kasaei] watched it together a few days ago and we were watching through our hands saying, 'Were we as crazy as this?'" Charlotte divulges with a chuckle. "In Geordie Shore, you saw a lot of drunk moments - people falling over - but in Aussie Shore, it's X-rated wild. There's a lot of bed-shaking."

Charlotte Crosby has dished the dirt on the risqué behaviour of reality TV's new stars, claiming they have no fear baring all or getting frisky in the open - and it's down to their steady TV diet of reality shows. "We went on Geordie Shore and there was no reality TV for us to watch and think, 'That was wild but we've got to be wilder.' We were completely authentically ourselves, we weren't trying to be like anyone else," Charlotte explains.

"These guys have grown up watching every single reality TV show you can possibly get - they've got knowledge of all this craziness and they went out of their way to just out do it. They are half naked all the time and twerking - we were never that confident."

Despite the daring displays, Charlotte admitted to feeling quite protective over the gang: "They're all about 10 or 12 years younger than me. I love them all - you can expect a really loveable cast who you'll get invested in and all of their house relationships are so interesting with all the drama that unfolds. Expect to be shocked because I am from Geordie Shore and I am shocked."

Sharing a slice of her life, Charlotte revealed her family joined her during her Aussie adventure last year for filming: "They were there the whole time and I'd have the whole afternoon with them," she reminisces. "We explored Cairns and did loads of different day trips. Alba was fine - the jet lag didn't seem to faze her and she was sleeping a lot during the day."

Charlotte Crosby is already planning her return to Australia with baby number two in tow if Aussie Shore is renewed for another series. "It will be shortly after the birth that we'll all be on a plane to Australia so I hope the new baby is ready because they don't know what they're letting themselves into." The mum-to-be revealed she may call on extra help, explaining, "I might have to fly my mum out for a portion of time because for Jake to have two kids alone while I'm working, it is a lot to ask someone. He has to book a lot of holiday for his own job and misses out on his work. Looking after two kids every single day by yourself in a foreign place would be hard."

The Geordie Shore alum opened up about her current pregnancy experience, noting, "When you already have a baby, you just have to be alright - because you don't have any time to lie on the settee and feel ill." And despite her previous struggles with her daughter Alba, Charlotte says she's embracing her pregnancy this time around.

Speaking about her plans for childbirth, Charlotte divulged that she intends to have a C-section after having been deterred from a natural birth, asserting, "You can have a natural birth after a C-section but you have to go through quite a lot of things because there's a worry that you'll tear all of the scars. I don't have any urge to want to push a baby out so that's not happening."

Charlotte Crosby recalled a conversation she had with a South African woman while pregnant, saying: "I met a South African woman on holiday when I was heavily pregnant and when I told her I was having a C-section, she was jumping around celebrating. I was like, 'That's not the reaction you would get in the UK - it's almost frowned upon that you wouldn't want to give birth naturally.' She was so gobsmacked."

As a new mum, Charlotte is embracing motherhood, but she's hoping her children, Alba and the new baby, don't adopt her new favourite catchphrase, which she picked up while filming Aussie Shore. "When we were on Geordie Shore, we had 'tashing on' and 'let's get mortal' and they really caught on. On Aussie Shore, they always say c**t," she explains. "They say it so casually, and I found myself wanting to say it all the time afterwards! But it's a really bad word to say, and it's heavily frowned upon in England. I'm shocked they got away with saying it so much!"

Aussie Shore premieres on Thursday, 3rd October, on Paramount+.
