Beyonce strips out of her jeans in a bootylicious reboot of one of the most famous adverts of all time.

The pop superstar has recreated the 1985 Levi’s ad, featuring model Nick Kamen ditching his denim in a laundrette. Queen Bey’s Cowboy Carter album, released in March, includes a track called Levii’s Jeans, which features Post Malone.

Levi’s stock rose 20% after the namecheck from the former Destiny’s Child star. Now she has collaborated on a new ad for the firm, which was founded in San Francisco in 1853. Beyonce said: “My song Levii’s Jeans celebrates what I believe is the ultimate Americana uniform – something we all wear with pride. I am honoured to work with Levi’s to create quintessential American iconography.

“Denim on denim has often been seen through a male lens, so this reimagining campaign is important to me. I look forward to exploring innovative ways for our visions to align in empowering women and honouring
their strength.”

Cowboy Carter has been streamed more than a billion times on Spotify. Essex-born Nick launched a music career of his own after his success in the original laundrette advert, releasing a self-titled album in 1987. He died of cancer, aged 59, in 2021.
