Love Island's George Fensom hits out after tense altercation with influencer

Former Love Island star George Fensom has spoken out after he appeared to be involved in a tense altercation with a social media star at a recent fashion event

Former Love Island star George Fensom has addressed a heated altercation with a social media influencer.

George, 26, recently attended a White Fox clothing event alongside the likes of Katie Price, Joe Garratt and social media stars. However, the Bedford-born reality star turned boxer found himself clashing with influencer Sam Goatlifter while the pair were seen close to the bar.

In a video seen by the Mirror, George can be seen placing his hand on Sam's chest, before the influencer pushes George back as George appears to make a gesture with his hands. The pair continue to engage in a heated discussion before Sam eventually laughs and walks away from Fensom.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror about the encounter, George said: "I was at the Future Is White Fox event and I was networking and meeting up with friends, and me and Sam had not spoken at this point, and he came over to me basically saying, how I fumbled on Misfits [Boxing] and that I wouldn't last two seconds in the ring with him.

"It went back and forth I was giving it back to him but he was pushing me gently to get under my skin, I think all in all he just wants a shot on misfits and is using me as a way to get there as an easy target, however, I am in training now, new coach and time to learn how to box. So if he wants it in the new year, we will see what happens. But for now, he can try and get clout elsewhere." George was previously in the Misfits boxing ring with HS Tikky Tokky – but the fight was called off after 79 seconds after HS floored Fensom on three occasions.

Meanwhile, Sam said: "I go over to him as it's a networking event and I go 'Nice to meet you mate,' just being friendly and it was such a cold response, he was like 'Yeah whatever,' the ego on him from the get-go was just absolutely mental. I instantly walked off and went 'Well that was weird', I was just chilling with James, my girlfriend, his girlfriend at the time and we were all in a group having a good time and every time I turned to my left, I just see George bogging me out for absolutely no reason, nothing went on at that point." He added that he approached George and suggested he "dropped his ego".

"He got a bit annoyed, we went back and forth and I went off and enjoyed the rest of my night and nothing of it," Sam added. He later said that George told him he "wouldn't stand a chance in a ring" with him.
